The Heinz von Heiden Arena

The Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hanover is a modern football and event arena with a covered capacity of 49,000. Originally built in 1954 as the Niedersachsenstadion, it has undergone several modernizations and is now the home stadium of Hannover 96. The arena is centrally located in the Hannover Sportpark, directly on the Maschsee lake.

In addition to football matches, the arena offers flexible spaces for all kinds of events, from business events to private celebrations. Since 2022, the stadium has been called the Heinz von Heiden Arena, named after its current sponsor.

With its central location and modern facilities, the Heinz von Heiden Arena is a major event venue in Hanover.
